1st talk: Paradoxes in Data Science (Pier Paolo Ippolito)
speaker: Pier Paolo Ippolito, Data Analytics @ Swiss Re
description: Paradoxes are a class of phenomena that arise when, although starting from premises known as true, we derive some sort of logically unreasonable result. As Machine Learning models create knowledge from data, this makes them susceptible to possible cognitive paradoxes between training and testing. In this talk, I walk you through some of the main paradoxes associated with Data Science and how they can be identified.
2nd talk: Fabric FAST - an IaC framework for quick bootstrapping of enterprise landing zones on GCP (Roberto Jung Drebes, Google)
description: In this session, the creators for the Fabric FAST will present how Google Cloud Professional Services bootstraps and evolves enterprise landing zones on GCP using their Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code framework. They will cover its history, common architectures, driving principles and some nice features that the framework provides.
speaker: "Roberto is an engineer within the GCP Professional Services Organization who works with some of the largest European enterprises on their GCP cloud foundations, with a focus on network, security and infrastructure. Roberto is also one of the leads on the FAST framework."
