Every day, millions of users access the web to look for a job. Every day, Jobtome delivers millions of job offers to those users, trying to ensure the best match possible. The job market is highly variable, competitive, and overwhelming; users often get lost in the search because of the lack of complete symmetry and perfect information in the market. Leveraging on Google Cloud Platform, Jobtome built a recommendation system that helps applicants in their goals; our purpose is to reduce economic insecurity for blue-collar workers around the world, by suggesting the right job to the right candidate. In this talk, Jobtome team will explain the process of building a recommendation system from scratch, delivering millions of tailored jobs to jobseekers in the German market.
