Talks

Talk 1: Fighting Hallucinations with Knowledge using Neo4j and Google Vertex AI
One of the most common issues faced by Generative AI applications that directly consume large language models is the tendency for those models to hallucinate. In many cases this is caused by the generalised language model having either a very shallow or no understanding of the domain that the application serves. This talk will cover techniques for generating a domain specific knowledge graph from unstructured data and then leveraging that knowledge graph as part of a RAG based approach to ground responses from the model.

About the speaker:
Darren is a member of the Neo4j Technical Field Team and has been seen for the past 10+ years drawing nodes and relationships on every whiteboard in sight ! He has worked in a variety of customer facing roles over a long career centered mainly around either moving, processing or storing data. More recently he has been helping Neo4j customers leverage graphs for digital twins, fighting fraud and building more accurate, secure and explainable Generative AI applications.
