As a seasoned software engineer with years of experience in full-stack development and cloud-native technologies, I'm passionate about building scalable and robust applications that solve real-world problems. I'm currently working as a Software Engineer at Industrial Software Group, an Australian restoration company, where I utilize my skills in React.js and Node.js backend with TypeScript, and I also handle DevOps works with Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes. Prior to that, I was a Software Engineer at WSO2, where I worked on implementing a microservice that dynamically generates deployment for WSO2's Choreo Platform. During my undergraduate years, I worked as an intern at Platformer, a startup where I built CLI, Microservice using Golang and learned React. Additionally, I implemented a Database Scaling on Kubernetes solution for my undergraduate research project, which was published as a paper, and I won all island hackathons and lead SLIIT FOSS community as the president. Apart from my technical skills, I'm also a community leader. I'm a GitHub Field Expert, the only one in the South East Asia Region, a Google Developer Group Leader, and a Kubernetes Community Day Sri Lanka Lead Organizer. I also lead the Golang Sri Lanka Community Group and Kubernetes Sri Lanka Community with my community colleagues. In my free time, I enjoy practicing karate, where I hold a 2nd-degree black belt, going to the gym, and surfing on weekends.
