Biodun Awojobi, Ph.D.

Customer Engineering Manager - Financial Services Industry, Google Cloud

Biodun Awojobi has been in the Information Technology industry for over 15 years. He received his MBA and Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Dallas. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Lagos State University in Lagos, Nigeria. He has worked in multiple IT software, networking, and security roles across several industries over the years. He worked at Microsoft for six years before transitioning to Google, where he currently leads a team of customer engineers focused on Infrastructure, Application Modernization, Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Security for the Google Cloud Platform. During his time at Microsoft, he worked in multiple roles. His last position being a Senior Technical Specialist for Security and Compliance, aligned with the Financial Services industry. Biodun holds a Ph.D. in Information Science at the University of North Texas with a focus on Cybersecurity. His research interests are in Privacy and Security with the Internet of Things (IoT).

Wade Walters, Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

Wade joined Google Cloud in 2020 focusing on security. He has 20+ years of experience in Security, Threat, Risk, and Compliance across a multitude of technologies including Threat Management, Asset Management, Incident Analysis and Response, and Cyber Warfare. Prior to joining Google he advised and managed training programs for multiple Five Eyes Cyber teams as well as various government, military and private entities around the globe.
