About this event

This 1-hour session introduces the key concepts of Quantum Machine Learning; the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, the creation of quantum ML models, the curation of classical data (i.e. hyperspectral images, phylogenetic trees, etc...) into quantum states, and the current limitations of quantum computing. This session will introduce a brief theoretical background into quantum computing (i.e. superposition, entanglement, teleportation), however, some knowledge of machine learning is assumed.
