The first CS-CAN|INFOCAN Francophone Women in Computing Day is focused on networking, learning, sharing and mentoring. It embodies the mission of encouraging curiosity and awareness of digital innovations that are changing the community and the world around us. The event is held in French and brings together leaders from research, education and education and industry. The one-day event will be attended by over 200 undergraduate and graduate computer science students, with stimulating and inspiring speakers, discussions and networking opportunities.
The event will also include a career fair and hackathon and provides an excellent opportunity for industry to connect with all the students and offers a great opportunity for organizations to easily access the best access to top talent from Quebec’s universities and CEGEPs and assists and supports on-campus recruitment efforts.
