About Speaker:

Amela Špica, Cloud Engineer @Erste Digital Vienna, Austria

Amela Špica is a Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management. She is currently working at Erste Digital in Vienna, Austria, where she is part of the team responsible for migrating core banking services to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Her focus areas include Terraform, Identity and Access Management (IAM), security, networking, and cloud service enablement.

Amela holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Ljubljana and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Sarajevo. She has also earned the prestigious Professional Cloud Architect Certification from Google Cloud.

Her professional journey encompasses a range of roles in backend software engineering, big data, and cloud computing at Avery Dennison, AVL, and Comtrade Group. Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse array of technologies, including Terraform, .NET, Java frameworks, Kubernetes, and cloud providers like Azure and GCP.
