What's Resiliency? - Asking For A Friend by Shantell Thomas	Underrepresented groups have something to share about resiliency because when faced with all forms of discrimination, they somehow power through. I am a member of two of those groups - I am a black woman. Faced with workplace microaggressions, slights and assumed incompetence has revealed some Solid resilience tactics. Since you’re just asking for a friend, here are my top three: #1: You owe the new day the best version of yourself - so give it, no matter what happened yesterday #2: Look good, it feels good #3: Vulnerability wins - name it and claim it so you can recover from it
How Can ML Promote Universal Literacy And Accessibility by Katherine Stein and Rena Simkowitz	Katherine Stein and Rena Simkowitz will share how they are leveraging Google AI research to improve the identification and intervention of dyslexia. Inspired by their own experiences with dyslexia, Katherine and Rena are working to drive research that will enable educators and parents to more accurately identify and more effectively support children with dyslexia so that they can reach their full potential.
