It's been a long time! Just wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming event we are doing at Heatsync. Details below! Also, if you are interested in organizing Cloud GDG events in the Phoenix area please reach out!

We are going to watch the "Rust Day on Google Open Source Live" event during at Heatsync on Sept 1 from 9am to 11am. You can read more about it (and attend it virtually on your own) here:

The Google event is from 9am to 11am and after that we'll all grab lunch and keep the discussion going. It MIGHT be catered (i.e. Pizza or Hot Dogs or Empanadas) if we can get sponsorship from a certain someone. Lars Bergstrom, Director of Engineering, Android Platform Programming Languages at Google is doing the keynote so it might be of interest to Android developers. Rust is all about the cloud so I'm sure anyone interested in GCP might want to check it out too! Okay, okay, no GCP specific speakers but Rust will be everywhere so it's best to figure it out now. :)
