Kubernetes Service Catalog: What, Why, and How

par Jason Hansen de Deis/Microsoft

No application is an island. Frequently applications need to connect to backing services which may live on and off cluster. There are lots of questions to answer as the number of services increases. How do developers and operators provision, use, and manage these services required for their applications. How can developers and operators bridge the gap between on and off-cluster services? The Kubernetes Service Catalog special interest group is tackling this problem head on. Dive in and understand the what, why, and how around the fast-moving Kubernetes Service Catalog.

Jason Hansen loves to make complex systems simple. He is currently working for Microsoft as a Principle Program Manager on Azure Container Service. He recently joined Microsoft through the Deis acquisition where he was Chief Architect.
