Google has officially launched its planned Google Cloud Platform (GCP) region in Montreal in early 2018. Today, we are excited to announce the first GCP Meetup in Ottawa!

Join us on Monday, 18 June 2018 to learn about the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem and other open source projects that Google is contributing to, or that integrate with GCP.

One of these projects, Istio*, has its first birthday coming up and we want to celebrate it along with this meetup. Further, Istio 0.8 LTS is hot off the press, check out the release notes**, it’s packed with awesome new features and a bit of re-branding (Citadel 😍).

Cake, food, and beverages will be served (beer, water, and other non-alcoholic drinks).
