About this event

AUDIENCE/WHO SHOULD ATTEND and PREREQUISITES [Beginner/Intermediate]

Developers interested in learning about serverless technologies, why they exist, what they're used for, and get an introduction to serverless computing platforms in Google Cloud.

ABSTRACT

What exactly *is* "serverless"? It is one of the fastest growing segments of the cloud that allows developers to focus on what they're building instead of what it runs on. In this session, we will review the cloud computing service levels then focus specifically on serverless *compute* platforms. Whether it's functions/microservices, web apps, mobile backends, containers, or a customized business automation & extension platform, Google Cloud has a tool for your needs. Attendees will code samples for each platform. The demos will be in Python & JavaScript, but most common languages are supported. Whether you're a developer, technical consultant, software engineer, DevOps/IT staff, or a systems analyst, you'll know how to run code on Google's cloud and become part of the next-generation cloud-ready workforce.
