About this event

Join us and our friends from Techqueria, in an evening of music, food, networking, friendship, kindness, love and community to celebrate afrolatinidad!

We'll be joined by music from Linda Diaz, latinx community leaders, black ERG leaders, friends and allies; let's enjoy some time together, chat, dance, and continue creating continue carving the kind of spaces where we're all welcomed.

We will provide some snacks, full bar and dinner menu available for purchase.

Techqueria is the largest community that empowers Latinx professionals with the resources and support that they need to thrive and become leaders in the tech industry.

Linda Diaz is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The gentle yet soulful artist has been making waves in NYC’s independent scene with lush vocal arrangements and powerful lyricism to accompany her jazzy r&b sound.
Her latest release, "Magic” is a six track EP produced by ThankYouFatMatt.

Thanks to Edward Montenegro for helping us find a venue, Iguana for hosting us, Jopwell for the fantastic event picture, and all the silent heroes that are working every day behind the scenes to make our events possible; and Carolina Castro, Chloe Potsklan, Vaneessa Jimenez, and David Silva, the Techqueria chapter directors in NYC.
