Cloud IoT Edge is the software that extends Google Cloud's powerful data processing and machine learning capabilities to gateways, cameras, and end devices, making IoT applications smarter, more secure, and more reliable. It lets you execute ML models trained in Google Cloud on the Edge TPU or GPU- and CPU-based accelerators.

In this session, let's walk through how to train high-quality machine learning models using Google's AutoML, transfer learning, and execute machine learning models in IoT Edge devices. The demo includes the real use case data trained and running the inference using Google's Coral USB Accelerator and Raspberry Pi 4 with the comparison of inference time between CPU/GPU and Edge devices and discussion of cases how machine learning at the edge benefits businesses.
