A major UK bank faces the constant challenge of ensuring its marketing materials comply with complex financial and advertising regulations. To streamline this process and reduce risk, they've partnered with Onix to develop an "AI Compliance Officer". Using Chain of Thought prompting, enabling the AI to reason through its decisions in a human-like way, we are removing the need for labour intensive fine-tuning. In this talk, we'll explore how this solution works, the challenges we are facing and the exciting potential of this technology for the future of financial compliance.

This session explores the new power of Cloud Run GPUs. We'll start with Google's managed Vertex AI services, showing you how to easily leverage pre-trained models for text and image generation. Then, we'll dive into Cloud Run with GPUs, where how to deploy advanced models like Gemma 2 and Stable Diffusion. And finish off with a discussion on optimising performance and minimising costs.

Sean has been working in the AI and Data space for 14 years, all the way from large engineering consultancies where he worked on procedurally generated designs to tiny 8 person start ups in NLP powered regtech. He has been in the Google ecosystem for 4 years working with a wide range of clients across fintech, retail and manufacturing. He currently leads Engineering for Onix across UK&I and EMEA.
