Training an AI model just for kicks or getting a good score on a Kaggle competition is one thing. But actually having AI solve real-world problems in production is another. March 31st we have two speakers that can tell you more about who to get started with deploying your models to production!

About this event

Protecting Elephants with AI - Thijs Suijten

Thijs will share how he uses machine learning and hardware to create a smart camera system that can detect poachers and elephants in real-time in very remote places in Africa. Using a pragmatic approach he managed to get a working system and has done a pilot in Gabon / Africa where the system was used to mitigate human-elephant conflicts. Thijs will share his challenges of creating the hardware and AI components needed for this system.

Scalable Machine learning platforms - Turan Bulmus

Turan will share how enterprises can build and maintain scalable Machine learning platforms for experimentation and production in GCP. Starting with mapping the analytical maturity of an enterprise to their ambitions, he will delve into how organizations can generate business value with their data using machine learning irrespective of their analytical maturity. He will then provide technical details of how such a system would look like ideally by giving details about an architecture for experimentation and production systems.
