6:00 PM	🎙️Dr. Johannes Peter: Implementing Data Mesh on the Google Cloud Platform	As companies mature in how they make use of data to leverage business potentials, the needs for distributing efforts across the company and for embedding the efforts into a proper strategy are significantly growing. Especially in larger contexts, the data mesh approach is widely seen as state-of-the-art, as it considers to keep business and engineering closely together. However, implementing data mesh into an organization comes along with many technical and organizational challenges. The talk will discuss how data mesh can be implemented on the basis of the Google Cloud Platform with particular emphasis on contrasting BigQuery and BigTable.
