Google has officially opened its first Google Cloud Platform (GCP) region in Canada, located in Montreal at the beginning of the year 2018.

Today we are excited to announce the first Montreal Google Cloud Platform Meetup in Montreal!

Join us on Thursday, 21st June 2018 to learn about GCP platform ecosystem and other open source projects that Google is contributing to, or that integrate with GCP.

One of these projects, Istio*, has its first birthday coming up and we want to celebrate it along with this Meetup. Further, Istio 0.8 LTS is hot off the press, check out the release notes**, it’s packed with awesome new features and a bit of re-branding (Citadel 😍).

Cake, beer and food will be served.
