Abstract:

Large language models (LLMs) are a powerful tool that can be used to build a wide variety of applications. However, LLMs have some limitations that make building applications a challenging task.

LangChain is a framework that makes it easier to build applications powered by LLMs. LangChain provides a high-level API that abstracts away the details of working with LLMs, making it easier to focus on building your GenAI application.

In this meetup, we will discuss how to use LangChain to build applications powered by Vertex Generative AI on Google Cloud. We will cover the following topics:

Introduction to GenAI on Google Cloud and LangChain

How to build a GenAI application using LangChain and Vertex AI

We will also have Generali Italia which will talk about how they use LangChain with PALM 2 to build knowledge base Q&A applications.

This meetup is for data scientists and developers interested in building applications powered by LLMs. No prior experience with LangChain or LLMs is required.

Ivan Nardini - CE, Google Cloud

Ivan is a customer engineer specialized in Smart Analytics, AI/ML and MLOps at Google Cloud. He is currently collaborating and enabling Data Science developers and practitioners to define and implement ML applications on Vertex AI. His goal is to transform models into assets for companies using Vertex AI. Ivan is passionate about music and start taking drum lessons.
