This is a Firebase and Web technology Crash Course, focusing on React. During the course we will build a small To-Do list in React, using Firebase to have a password protected area, a real time database and deploy our app. The course will take place during all the Tuesdays in November. Teachers & Mentors: Amanda Cavallaro, Duncan Ogle and Stefano Le Pera (Front End Developers at Gamesys). --- It is free to attend. Please bring your own laptop. --- Pizzas, snacks, sodas, juices and water will be provided. --- Tentative agenda: --- Basic concepts of (object oriented) programming and javascript (ES6). The course is designed around open-source technologies, so a Unix-like system, Linux or MacOS is preferred. Git and Visual Studio Code will be our main tools, along with Node.js.
