*Practicalities* - READ THIS BEFORE ATTENDING THE SESSION
- Join the waiting list - we'll open up spots closer to time.
- Make sure you have a G-Suite or Gmail account - this will make setting up the work in pairs possible.
- In order to prepare the session, go through the introductory materials: https://developers.google.com/tech-writing/one
These pages will teach you the basics that you will apply in the session. The more time you put in before, the more you'll get out of the class discussions.

In this edition of the GDG Cloud meetup, we'll host Sharif Salah, Senior Technical Writer at Google and Matthias Baetens, Associate AI Engineer at Arabesque AI, GDE for Google Cloud and scuba diving enthusiast.
The goal of the meetup is to interactively learn about Technical Writing Fundamentals for Engineers (and more generally, to make the world of Software Development a clearer place).
The session will consist of:
- Pre-work to do on your own time before you join the session
- Partner work: you'll be paired up with a partner to discuss topics between the 2 of you
- Class discussions: discussing some outcomes and broader topics with the whole class and facilitators.
A rough schedule of the meetup:
- 18.00 - 18.15: Introduction
- 18.15 - 20:30 - Training
