Speakers of the day (not necessarily in this order):

1) Going Serverless with Knative and Cloudrun

Knative is a developer friendly project build on top of kubernetes and istio that allows developers to deploy code directly to the cluster, run and revision API’s even with zero replicas scaling on demand. This presentation will discuss and demonstrate the features of Knative and Cloudrun.

Randy is a Google Developer Expert for Cloud and also Organizer of the GDG Düsseldorf. With a professional experience of more 20 years in software development he is focused today on building microservices applications on top of kubernetes.

2) Babylon’s event streaming pipeline to Bigquery

An overview of Babylon’s event streaming pipeline, maintaining a secure connection between AWS and GCP project and protecting BigQuery from data exfiltration. Also, they will explain how they plan to use BigQuery for business analytics and research.
