#GCPBoleh is an online self-study program that provides developers in Malaysia with access to hands-on Google Cloud labs while learning alongside a supportive community of peers.
This season, from July 14 to Aug 12, 2023, you will be able to learn Google Cloud technologies at your own pace, and score the most awaited GCP swags based on the number of quests you've completed.

Amrita is a problem solver, community builder, and tech evangelist. She is currently a technical project manager at Google, where she manages the operations for developer programs and initiatives in the SEA region. She also manages developer communities in Singapore and Malaysia.
Prior to joining Google, Amrita was a senior technology consultant at EY (Data & Analytics), where she worked on developing big data analytics platforms for finance and utility industries. She is passionate about building communities and has founded Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) Malaysia and GDSC University of Malaya. She also led the Google Developer Group (GDG) Cloud chapter in Kuala Lumpur. During her tenure as a community lead, Amrita has led over 30 events in areas such as machine learning, app development, and cloud computing. Her major interest is in NLP, and she is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and solving problems.
Michael Hoo is the Country Head of Customer Engineering in Google Cloud Malaysia. In his role, Michael is responsible for Google Cloud's technical practice that addresses our customers' toughest technology needs.
With around 20 years of experience as a engineering leader and architect in emerging tech, Michael brings with him experiences in emerging tech adoption, innovation and design thinking. In his career in Google, Michael has also led the North and South East Asia public sector engineering team, tackling complex problems in education, healthcare and citizen services. Prior to Google, Michael was the Director of Solutions Architecture in VMware where he led customers through their tech evolution. He was also at Amazon Web Services just when Malaysian companies begin their digital transformation journey.
At a time where business needs, problems and expectations are rapidly shifting, Michael believes mastering problems and experimenting with technology are enablers to thrive. This applies to Generative AI as well.
Lai Fong is a research enthusiast, particularly in 2D computer vision, 3D computer modelling and artificial intelligence. Outside of R&D, she loves socialising and learning about new technology trends. She is Women Techmakers Kuala Lumpur community lead, inspired as Women in Tech and continues to bring diversity to the stages!
Arvind is working with Google Cloud Malaysia for the last 6 months and has been helping customers realize the value of data by leveraging on cloud data platforms and best practises of data management. Before joining Google, he was working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Malaysia for 3.5 years. He has been in Malaysia for the last 7 years and loves the culture and people here. He truly believes that Malaysia has great potential to grow and create an impact on the world's technology trends.
