Amrita is a problem solver, community builder, and tech evangelist. She is currently a technical project manager at Google, where she manages the operations for developer programs and initiatives in the SEA region. She also manages developer communities in Singapore and Malaysia.
Prior to joining Google, Amrita was a senior technology consultant at EY (Data & Analytics), where she worked on developing big data analytics platforms for finance and utility industries. She is passionate about building communities and has founded Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) Malaysia and GDSC University of Malaya. She also led the Google Developer Group (GDG) Cloud chapter in Kuala Lumpur. During her tenure as a community lead, Amrita has led over 30 events in areas such as machine learning, app development, and cloud computing. Her major interest is in NLP, and she is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and solving problems.
