Google Compute Engine delivers virtual machines running in Google's innovative data centers and worldwide fiber network. Compute Engine's tooling and workflow support enable scaling from single instances to global, load-balanced cloud computing.

Cloud SQL is a fully-managed database service that makes it easy to set up, maintain, manage, and administer your relational PostgreSQL and MySQL databases in the cloud. Cloud SQL offers high performance, scalability, and convenience.

Join the GCDC Kampala on Wednesday 30th May 2018 at Outbox from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm as we learn how to use Google Compute Engine with Google Cloud SQL.

1) Creating a virtual machine
2) Running an application on Google Compute
3) Setting up Google Cloud Sql
4) Connecting Google Cloud sql with Google compute

Anyone who wants to learn how to use Google Cloud Engine with Cloud SQL is welcome.

At the end of the event, one should be able to run a virtual machine on Google cloud.

Pre-requisites
Prior knowledge of SQL and any programming language.
