Toan started his journey with Natural Language Processing researches during the university period with CS major. Later on, with his involvement in the open-source community, he changed the course of his career to be a software engineer, focusing on the Android platform since 2011. Ever since his passion for the droid has been cultivated and grew. He is now working as Vice President, Mobile at Lazada.
Ben works on the Android Developer Relations team at Google.
His focus is on making applications compatible for the new app model.
Much of his time is spent navigating app modularization and dynamic features.
Next to that he coordinates the Android GDE program.
Huy is the co-organizer of GDG Cloud Hanoi. Currently, he is working as an Android developer. Huy is also a contributing member of the open-source website Kubernetes. He will share with you about behavior changes that may affect your application when running on Android 11.
Yacine is an Android developer advocate at Google in London where he works on Android Studio, privacy on Android and Jetpack Compose. He worked previously as a developer advocate at IBM on artificial intelligence API ecosystem and as a full stack developer in several startups.
Yacine will share with you about privacy continues to be a priority in Android 11. This presentation will help you understand privacy related changes and how to make your app compatible. This includes changes to permissions including one-time permission, storage, package visibility, tooling to help identify private data access, and other new platform APIs.
Hoi leads Developer Relations for Android Machine Learning and also a sector executive for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He was part of the launch team for Wear OS by Google (previously, Android Wear), Chromecast, Google Glass Enterprise Edition, and the Google Beacon Platform. Prior to Google, he founded Exahive to disrupt the mobile commerce market place. Hoi was an Equity Research VP at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup covering technology companies. Before banking, he was a product manager / application architect at Accenture. Hoi holds a Master and Bachelor degree in Space Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
Marcel is an Android Developer Advocate based in Singapore working with Partners in Southeast Asia to improve the Android ecosystem. He is from Barcelona and worked in Berlin for many years building Android Apps in different industries.
