Registration Closed for teams , Join. us here to see the Pitches you are invited to watch the pitches on Sunday 22nd , the meet link will be sent to you by email if you registered here :) The CAA Atlantic Hackathon & Devfest will be returning for its second year, this time with a virtual spin. The CAA Atlantic Virtual Hackathon will take place over two days on a video conference platform, where participants can team up to build innovative solutions to challenges that currently exist in Atlantic Canada’s travel industry. We have had to come to the difficult decision to postpone the Hackathon this weekend. While we did have a lot of spoken interest, the paid registrations haven’t been enough to make it a fair competition. We believe there were a few factors that led to the low registration, including: a) lack of an in-person social gathering which Hackathons have been known for We still strongly believe that the subject matter, mentors, prizes and especially judges were a compelling story. Therefore we would like to transform the Hackathon rather than cancel it outright. Our plan is to pivot the event to become a Pitch Fest. Rather than participants dedicating their full weekend, you will simply bring your business concepts or technologies to “pitch” at the final judging session. We understand that you have busy schedules, so we wish we could provide as much notice as possible. We are looking at Sunday, Nov-22nd for the final event. We can send more details over once we've finalized the event format. In CAA PitchFest & GDG Atlantic Devfest, expert mentors from the travel industry along with business professionals will guide and educate attendees on the successful creation of a business model or technical solution. Throughout the Hackathon, participants have the opportunity to innovate the future of travel, virtually network and collaborate with like-minded people, develop new skills, and win prizes! Do you consider yourself an innovator, developer, designer, entrepreneur, and/or travel enthusiast? Check out the CAA Atlantic Virtual Hackathon today!
