You will gain a comprehensive understanding of how each algorithm works and how to implement them in your own projects. After six weeks of learning, you will apply the knowledge that you gained in the first half of the course by working on industry-level projects with a mentor, which will give you insights into how data science tools and techniques are used in the real world. Date: Phase 1: Every Sunday 1-4 pm MT from June 27 to August 1 Phase 2: Every Sunday 1-4 pm MT from August 8 to September 12 Course Outline: This course contains two phases. Phase I is an introductory level 6 weeks course about machine learning concepts. Phase II is 6 weeks of deep dive into specific ML projects. Phase II will focus less on teaching and more on mentor-guided workshops that provide hands-on experience. Gaining experience with these hands-on workshops will help you to understand how machine learning is used to solve challenges in the industry. In order to ensure the mentoring quality, we can only accept a certain number of participants for the mentor-led projects. To successfully proceed to Phase II, the participants are required to take an assessment test at the end of Phase I. Selection will put emphasis on participants' motivation and progress instead of relying entirely on their knowledge in machine learning.
