We hope that you‘re all good in these weird times!

We’re starting a new online meetup series adapting to the current situation. Since there is probably enough non-interactive material out to kill some time and learn, we’ll do something more interactive and last but not least more social.

The QuarantinedCoders meetup is about pure hands-on and coding together. In contrast to our traditional meetups where actively use and play with the tools and technologies that we have at our disposal.

The objective here is to crowed source the knowledge that we have in the community and to apply this to really practical things.

In this kick off meetup we’ll decide what we’re actually going to do e.g.:

Building a new GDG website together in go. Building the infrastructure (DNS, CloudRun, GCS) with terraform. Setup CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build and Spinnaker.

Furthermore the idea here is to also pick entirely different topics like machine learning or mobile development.

What ever we’ll do, we’ll do that without any preparation. We’ll research together, we’ll learn from each other and actually develop together.

This meetup series is aimed to be more frequent like weekly and later in the evening starting at 8.30pm.

The meetup will take place on Google Meet. You don't need an account for that. All you need to have is a Browser that has a good WebRTC support (e.g. Google Chrome).
