“Build Action for your Community” is an open and modular event series designed by Google and offered to community organizer worldwide. For GDG Cloud Durban our main aim for "Build Action for your community" is to educated and inspired Durban University of Technology Department of IT (Software Development) students to designed Actions for Durban University of Technology Community. The Durban University of Technology has 6 campuses that deliver knowledge to[masked] students.
Mostly students encounter following problems on campuses:
1. Finding places (lecture venues, academic departments, students support departments). The various departments are based on different campuses.
2. Not aware of Department, Faculty and University Protocols. When student need help with a specific issue (s)he is not aware where to start or who is the relevant university staff member to contact.
GDG Cloud Durban “Build Action for your Community” will focus on learning and coding Actions on Google that address problems mentioned above.
