Want to get started on the Google Cloud, but don't know where to begin?
Join us for our Cloud Study Jam! Together we'll work through three Google Cloud Platform Essentials labs, then you will get free access to the next quest so you can finish this series of labs at home to get a Google-hosted badge for your online profile. You will be able to get hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Scientific Data Processing, which will earn you additional badges.

Bring a laptop (PC, Mac or Chromebook)! The labs will run on all of the latest versions of the popular browsers. For the best experience, make sure your laptop has Firefox or Chrome installed.
6:00pm-7:30pm: Three Google Cloud Platform Essentials labs
7:30pm-8:30pm: Introduction to Docker or Scientific Data Processing lab with Google Cloud
8:30pm: Meeting wrap-up
• What to bring
Laptop and power connector. You can technically follow along on a tablet, but you won't be able to run commands. To get the most out of the session make sure to bring a laptop, but if you forget no worries, you'll still be able to follow along!
• Important to know
Parking: Visitor Parking
Short term visitor parking, less than two hours, is available on east lot entered from tollway access road. Enter the doors near the red sculpture and turn right to access the 15303 tower elevators. For visits longer than two hours, cars need to be parked in the garage.
Garage parking is $5/day, visitor access is available through any garage gate by pushing entry button. A ticket is not issued when the gate opens. The Garage is connected to the office building, once parked take the garage elevators to the 1st floor. When exiting follow signs to 1st level Visitor Exit Gate. You can park in the visitors area or the garage, if you park in the garage make sure you get with someone from Google during the meetup to get a pass.
