We are excited to welcome Andrea Wu from the Firebase team to talk about Firebase and how it can be used within you applications! When you’re building out an app, you’ll likely need to store persistent data, and Firebase has a few places where you can do so, notably with Storage, Firestore, and Realtime Database. Come learn about the differences amongst these products and when to use which one!

Google I/O Extended is a series of community-led tech meetups that bring the knowledge and excitement of Google I/O to developers on a city level, all around the globe. This year, we're excited to be hosting Google I/O Extended in Vancouver which will include people that attended I/O, as well as experts from various technologies to get their insights into the latest and greatest news from Google!

We'll be meeting in person at Google Chicago. There will be snacks and refreshments for the attendees. Further instructions on attending will be sent out closer to the event.
