Wendy Tegart is an accomplished professional who applies IT principles and best practices to deliver technology services that focus on operational and service excellence. Her over 25-year career has been focused on operations management in various healthcare organizations including Alberta Health Services, Calgary Health Region, and University Health Services in Toronto.
Wendy leads a team of 225 IT professionals and oversees service desk management, access provisioning, identity management and directory services. She is enthusiastic about creating a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment at AHS and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council, and co-chair on a Joint Workforce Health & Safety Committee.
Supporting the next generation of IT professionals is her other passion, and is a member of SAITs IT Advisory Board, and participates in industry panels/ recruitment nights at post-secondary organizations to encourage computer science students to consider health IT as career. In her spare time, she volunteers organizing local events with “Digital Health Canada” and participates in the “Girls Who Game” program that develops science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills in girls while having fun through gaming.

Ted Flitton helps people use their mouths better. As a public relations professional, Ted helps people speak with confidence in presentations, with the media and in job interviews. He began his career in journalism and later became the primary spokesperson for several companies ranging from energy, technology and automation. Ted takes his work seriously but prefers to keep things light and casual. Be prepared to learn to communicate more powerfully through stories, jokes, role play and slight cringiness.
