2. Introduction to SRE (Jumpstart)

In this session, Riccardo will walk us through the fundamentals of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), comparing it to DevOps and exploring key SRE principles and terminology. He will emphasize measuring reliability from the user's perspective, discussing Critical User Journeys, Service Level Indicators, Objectives, and Error Budgets. We'll also touch upon Error Budget policies, risk analysis, and briefly cover all areas of SRE practice, laying the groundwork for potential follow-up projects aimed at implementing SRE on a pilot workload.
