About this event

Lightning Talks:

Distributed Counting with Dataflow by Geoff Cooney of mabl

Counting in a highly distributed, scalable system can be surprisingly hard.  See an overview and hands on example of how you can use Google Dataflow to generate reliable real-time metrics at scale.

Incorporating Online User Feedback with Cloud ML by John Kinnebrew of mabl

Incorporating direct user feedback on machine learning results can improve personalization and efficacy, but online learning or immediate model re-training is not always feasible.  We discuss how mabl combines Google Cloud ML-Engine, Dataflow, and Datastore to handle the gap between when a user provides feedback and when retrained models are deployed.
