Pre-emptible VMs are machines which are up to 80% cheaper than their equivalent machine types as On Demand mode. However, they do come with several challenges and caveats with respect to their availability and reliability.
In this session, we will learn how to utilize PVMs, i.e, pre-emptible nodes, on Google Kubernetes Engine to get the full benefit of the reduced costs without having to compromise on availability and reliability by using some neat tips and tricks that we've learnt from past experiences.
