During this Meetup we will present into detail the different services offered by Firebase to build an app: Authentication (User login and identity), Cloud Firestore (Realtime, cloud hosted, NoSQL database), Cloud Storage (massively scalable file storage), Cloud Functions (serverless event driven backend) and Firebase Hosting (global web hosting).

We will look at how these different services can be combined in a mix-and-match approach to implement real-life use cases. We will also detail how we can interface with other (micro-)services and APIs through Cloud Functions: for example using Google Cloud Vision API for OCR or connecting to Stripe for online payments. Finally we will look at Firebase Extensions, an exciting new feature announced recently at the Firebase Summit 2019: a set of pre-packaged bundles of code designed to automate common tasks in your projects.

=== Serverless Scraper with Cloud Run and Puppeteer ===
Cloud Run is a fully managed compute platform that automatically scales your stateless containers. Puppeteer is a Node library which provides a high-level API to control headless Chrome or Chromium over the DevTools Protocol. Combining both gives us a powerful tool to intelligently scrape websites.
