About this event

We'll bring you the story of how Vente-Exclusive.com moved from a big monolith to a microservices architecture. You'll get some insights and war stories, but we'll also give you a view on the architecture.

The new architecture enables rapid iterations, easy deployment and real time insights for our business analysts. We'll touch a lot of GCP technologies like Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, DataFlow, BigTable, BigQuery to name but a few. It also shows you that having most of your services developed on Microsoft .NET Core isn't an issue running on the Google Cloud Platform.

Hopefully these insights will help you when you start building your next generation platform. Be sure to stick around for the ask us anything after session along with some pizza and drinks.

The story is brought by Nico Francois (Lead architect) and Alex Van Boxel (Cloud/Big Data Architect).

Bonus: Niels Buekers will give you an insight on the new Google Cloud certification with some sample questions. He will give you some pointers on how to study for the exam and talk about some of the possible pitfalls.
