Deepranker is the deep learning recommender of Veepee, the european e-commerce leader specialised in online clearance sales. Deepranker was developed to suggest sales and brands to our tens of millions of users around Europe, thus delivering them a more personalised shopping experience.

Initiated on AWS and on-premise, feature engineering, training and serving of the recommendations were recently brought to GCP's own AI Platform. Georges Kohnen will tell us about the move, illustrating pitfalls and unexpected hurdles.
