This event is all about networking, but we'll throw a unique technical talk from Collibra that you will only hear at this event: An honest look at Google's stack while building the Collibra Telemetry Backbone. As a second talk, we'll cover Appsheet field experience.

About this event

The time is right to get together and meet again at the Google Cloud Café, in Google's office in Brussels. This event is all about networking, you'll meet some old-timers again and I'm sure, we'll have some fresh blood. We will have partners, Googlers, and you.
But to make it interesting for the introverts, we'll throw a unique technical talk from Collibra that you will only hear at this event. An honest look at Google's stack while building the Collibra Telemetry Backbone. Because we are amongst friends, the talk will cover some great Google products and give a critical look at some of the products that could use some work.
Secondly, we'll hear from Formica about how they replaced a broad range of different SAAS applications with an Appsheet application. 
Google will provide the location, snacks, and drink. Please register early so they can make sure the fridge is filled with plenty of drinks. Hope to see you all again.

4:00 PM	Collibra's Telemetry Backbone - Honest look at Google's data and observability stack	Alex Van Boxel, a principal systems architect at Collibra (Belgium's first Unicorn), will give an honest look at Google's stack while building the Collibra telemetry backbone on top of Google's stack. You will hear about the challenges, the design decisions, what works well on Google, and what doesn't work so well. Technologies covered, are OpenTelemetry, Dataflow (Apache Beam), BigQuery, Kubernetes, Cloud Traces, Cloud Logs, 3th Party observability tools, and more...
4:45 PM	Appsheet field experience	Being a consulting company, Formica needs to manage the sales funnel, recruitment pipeline, and the planning of its consultants. In the past Formica used a broad range of different SAAS applications to do this. A few months ago Formica decided to replace these with Appsheet applications. During this event, Formica will demonstrate these applications and perform a deep dive into how they were built using Appsheet.
