Balpolam Idi is a creative writer with a burning desire for holistic teaching, learning and inclusion.
Growing, Up North, a memoir about her childhood in northern Nigeria is her first book.
She is enthusiastic about education, culture, literature, the girl-child and health. She will always be found volunteering towards a cause in these aspects.
She believes that storytelling is powerful enough to convey the most daring and meaningful messages, in sizable bits that sink in.
The 2021 SprinNG anthology was named after her short story and one of her stories was shortlisted for the Africa@2050 climate flash fiction contest.
