BigQuery supports data masking at the column level. You will learn how to use data masking to selectively obscure column data for users groups, while still allowing them access to the column. Data masking functionality is built on top of column-level access control, so you should familiarize yourself with that feature before you proceed. When you use data masking in combination with column-level access control, you can configure a range of access to column data, from full access to no access, based on the needs of different user groups.
