About this event

Threading on Android has been a hard problem since the start. From your first NetworkOnMainThreadException to a laggy RecyclerView, we’ve all had at least one threading issue in our apps. Kotlin recently introduced the newest way to simplify asynchronous programming with coroutines. Come learn how to jump off the main thread and jump back on in code without callbacks.

IMPORTANT! This month we're going to be at a different location: at Alchemy's office in downtown Cincinnati. The address is: 1100 Sycamore Street, 3rd floor. Enter from the Sycamore Street side. For parking, there's a few spaces at the office building on the Reading Road and Eggleston Ave side, on the street on Reading or Sycamore, the ParkHaus garage, or you can park for free at the Jack Casino.
