Bring a laptop this month as we'll be back in the Mason Tech Center classroom where Taron Foxworth from Losant will be leading an Internet of Things workshop!

The Losant IoT Hardware Workshop is a fun, hands-on, and interactive introduction to your first connected widget. The self-guided session provides all of the hardware, software, and instructions needed to build several simple connected experiences. The workshop is fun for all skill levels from novice to advanced developers.

Taron Foxworth is the Developer Evangelist at Losant. He translates technology for people to learn, love, and be inspired.

Losant will be providing the hardware for the workshop. Be sure to bring a laptop capable of running Arduino IDE (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software). Please go to Losant's Environment Setup page and install the software before the meetup so we can get through the workshop on time!
