An introductory workshop for Internet-of-Things (IoT) enthusiasts, by Dr. Stefan Jeglinski, Professor, UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Physics.
Prerequisites:
If you are joining us to participate, please be sure to RSVP because we have to create enough user accounts on the RPis for everyone.
Here is what you will need for the workshop:
1) Terminal (command line) access. On macOS, use the Terminal app inside your Utilities folder. On Windows, search on "cmd" and run the Command Prompt app. If you're on Linux, you already have a favorite terminal emulator.
2) An RDP client. On macOS, download Microsoft Remote Desktop from the Apple App Store. On Windows, the RDP client is built-in, no download needed. On Linux, there are a variety of RDP clients available; a popular one is Reminna.
