Google Developer Group Carthage DevFest 2018! The event will be held on November 24th and 25th in the South Mediterranean University MSB, Lac 2, and we welcome everyone to join us for two days of learning, competition, swag, food and fun! Saturday, we’ll have sessions and workshops focused on Google (and non-Google) technologies. We’ll also kickoff the Hackathon. Book your seats on the different sessions and workshops, and be eligible for potential gifts and prizes! Important to read for Hackathon attendees: This year's Hackathon will be to build a mobile app in 24 hours. It can be an android, flutter or hybrid app. No websites or PWAs allowed. When filling out the registration form, you will notice that you can attend the morning sessions, but once you chose to register for the Hackathon you will not be allowed to select workshops, as both are happening at the same time. The minimum number of people allowed per group is 3, you can chose to add a 4th person but you have to know that the prizes are planned for groups of 3. Each team has to choose a name, one person will do the Hackathon registration for all the team members and all the others will only register themselves with the same team name. Each year, Google DevRel choses a theme for the event, and this year it's "Digital Wellness". So it is recommended that at least one Digital Wellness feature be included in the app.
The theme of the Hackathon will be revealed on the day of the event.
