Chryssa Jones is an educator, a web developer, and a curriculum designer. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree, with honors, from Hawaii Pacific University and a professional certificate in Web Development from the University of California San Diego. Her professional work includes developing technical curriculum for novice engineers and creating applications that support indigenous language normalization and culture-based education. Her professional background also includes extensive experience in higher education administration and teaching, data analysis, small-business and retail management, manufacturing and operations, community development and public speaking, writing and editing, marketing, travel and event planning, and theatrical production. She volunteers her time as a Women Techmakers Ambassador and a Google Developer Groups Leader, is involved in community politics and neighborhood events, has a commercial pilot’s license, and loves to fly, travel all over the world, and spend time with her family. When she's at home and has some downtime, she's often gardening, cooking, reading a book, or relaxing at the beach.
