We are excited to announce that Boston Android is going to host Modern Android Study Jams. This event series is for people with programming experience who are interested in improving their Android app development skills. It helps to have the support of a study group.
Starting on March 24th, we host 90 minute weekly sessions every Thursday to learn advanced concepts of building resilient Android apps in Kotlin. This first session is about coroutines. It will teach you the concurrency design pattern that you can use on Android to simplify code that executes asynchronously. Dive deep into advanced Android development with a curriculum created by Google.
All you need is a computer. You can check the system requirements and get Android Studio installed. Having an Android device is not required. You can use the emulator or run your apps on your device.
The program lasts 5 weeks. Your knowledge will build on itself week over week. It a great time to start on Android development. We hope to see you soon! ✌🏻
