Come join us for yet another of our regular monthly meet up events. This one is our July 2024 Meet Up event and will hold at the BBD office in Century City.

The topic of the talk in this event is titled "Closing the gap between web and native apps" and will be delivered by Lucky Nhlanhla, R&D Software Engineer at BBD.

The web is fast becoming the main means through which people interact with technology. Despite the great benefits of the web which include a much shorter time to market, the web still has a long way to go in closing the gap between itself and native apps in terms of user experience and security.

In this hands-on talk, Lucky will give us a look at the extensive work being done to bring features to the web that seek to close this gap, how they aim to do that and how you can start using them to supercharge your own web applications regardless of the frameworks you use.
